Connectionism and Mother Tongue Transfer

Abstract

As the core problem in SLA,mother tongue transfer attracts the attention of different theory school.With the rising and development of cognitive psychology,connectionism offer language learning a better account.Currently,most effort has been devoted to the study of one's mother tongue.This paper aims to introduce the theory of connectionism first,then analyze the language learning and finally offer an account for mother tongue transfer phenomenon.
