Advertising

We display third-party advertising on a subset of pages to fund the site. Ads may be served by third-party networks that use cookies and similar technologies; what they collect and how is governed by their own policies and by your consent choices. See our Privacy Policy for details and opt-out information. Advertising is not shown on thin or utility pages, and ads never influence which journals appear or how they rank.

Affiliate links

Where a link to a third-party product or service is an affiliate link (meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you), it is disclosed at or near that link. Affiliate relationships never affect a journal's metrics, quartile, or position in any list.

Sponsorship

If sponsored content ever appears, it is clearly labelled as “Sponsored” and is kept entirely separate from data-driven rankings and recommendations. We do not accept payment from publishers in exchange for ranking position, badges, or favourable placement — see our Editorial & Corrections Policy.

Our commitment

Funding keeps the lights on; it does not shape the data. Journal metrics come only from the named sources in our Methodology.
