Revise and Resubmit (R&R), also called Major Revision, is a decision where the editor asks the author to address the reviewers' concerns and submit a revised version. This is generally a positive signal — it means the work has potential but needs changes. Authors typically have 30-90 days to respond with a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response letter.
