COPE

The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) is a non-profit organization that provides guidance on ethical standards in scholarly publishing. COPE publishes flowcharts and guidelines for editors, reviewers, and authors covering issues like plagiarism, data fabrication, authorship disputes, and conflicts of interest. Most reputable journals are COPE members.
