CC-BY
Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) is the most permissive Creative Commons license used in open access publishing. It allows anyone to share, adapt, and build upon the work, even commercially, as long as they credit the original author. Many funders (including Plan S, NIH, and Wellcome Trust) require CC-BY for funded research. Other common licenses include CC-BY-NC (non-commercial) and CC-BY-SA (share-alike).
