A Novel Deep Learning Framework for Predicting Malaria Outbreaks Using Satellite Imagery

This project aims to combine CNNs with open-source meteorological and geospatial satellite data to create a predictive heat-map of Malaria vectors. We have already collected 50GB of labeled satellite data spanning Sub-Saharan Africa. We are primarily looking for a data scientist who specializes in PyTorch and time-series forecasting, and an epidemiologist to validate the model's assumptions.
